Maternity, paternity and adoption claims with BEST
As a BEST Staff Absence Insurance customer, if the policy holder is advised that a staff member covered by the policy is pregnant, intends to take paternity leave or has been matched with a child for adoption notice, then we will need to be notified within 45 days of the end of the month in which you were first advised.
Or in the case of maternity leave or paternity leave, by no later than the 11th week prior to the expected birth date, whichever is earliest.
