Notifying us of a claim is a quick and easy process.
When an absence occurs, your immediate priority is of course going to be the staff member. This can make it difficult to find the time to tell us about the absence. Because our Schoolsafe policy is one of the best in the market, you have 30 days from the end of the month in which absence commences to let us know about a claim.
What if the absence occurred at the beginning of the month?
It doesn’t matter when the absence occurred, your notification period will begin at the end of the month of occurrence.
That means that even if that absence occured on the first of the month, you’ll still have the remainder of that month before the 30 day notification period begins to notify us of the claim, unless it’s maternity, paternity or adoption related.
