Maternity, paternity and adoption claims follow a slightly different claims process to sickness and accident claims.
As a BEST Staff Absence Insurance policy holder, if you are advised that a staff member covered by the policy is pregnant, intends to take paternity leave or has been matched with a child for adoption, you need to notify us within 45 days of the end of the month in which you were first advised.
Or, in the case of maternity leave or paternity leave, no later than the 11th week prior to the expected birth date.
